Here is a glamore shot at Kirkland's Houghton Beach Park. For those of you whom are familiar with the area, I paddled 2.36 miles (as calculated with Google Earth) round trip to Yarrow Bay Wetlands Park. Very plesant. A nice little private oasis in the middle of the Eastside. Saw two Red Ear Sliders (I think) a blue heron and a dozen juvi-ducks. Perfect lunch time paddle.
